The £1m Co-Investment Loan Fund.
The Viking Loan Fund is part of
a £5.0m package of measures announced by Yorkshire Forward in February 2009
to provide the region's businesses with working capital during the
recession.

Co-Financed Investment
It will be lending a total of £1.0m in the form of unsecured loans alongside business angels investing their capital, management experience and expertise in existing companies in Yorkshire and Humber.

Applicants will need to satisfy a number of conditions in order to be considered, namely:
- Be based in Yorkshire and Humber
- Be already established and trading, with a turnover of
not more than £2.0m
- To have a viable future
- To employ between three and 50 people whose jobs are at immediate risk
- Not operate in a ineligible or illegal trade
- To have had credit facilities recently reduced or withdrawn by their bank
- To have had an application for working capital recently turned down by a bank
